Philippine Export Procedures
1. Register with Securities & Exchange Commission - SEC - Davao - if we register as company or Department of Trade & Industry in Koronodal if sole proprietor
2. Register in the City where we will trade - Koronodal
3. Register with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) - Koronodal
5. Register with City Mayor as Barangay (district) Micro Business Enterprise - 1,000 pesos (£14) - Koronodal
We have to apply for sole proprietorship as the accredited coffee exporter (Annie) - 20 pesos!
Then, issue a Pro-forma invoice to LifeAid Solutions or Lotus Coffee Ltd - signed by both parties
Obtain Bill of Lading & photo-sanitary certificate
Complete export declaration online (ED SAD) (Philippines is a signatory to the ICO - International Coffee Organisation) and is a tariff free import to EU/UK
Deliver shipment to port - inspected by Bureau of Customs
Submit ED and Bill of Lading to Export Marketing Board to get Certificate of origin - customs validate the CO.
